You’re invited to join Regis University’s Mile-High MFA Creative Writing faculty and students for poetry and prose revision workshops open to writers of all levels. Bring your writing to new heights as you discuss best practices in writing, network and make new friends. 

The two-hour writing studio features authors Eric Baus and Mario Acevedo, who will be on hand to help critique and shape your writing.

1-2 p.m. Craft Seminars
Workshop Option 1: The Poem as Letter/ The Letter as Poem, with Eric Baus

Workshop Option 2: Demons and Angels: Why We Don't Write and Why We Do, with Mario Acevedo

2-2:15 p.m. : Coffee Break

2:15-2:30 p.m.: Introduction to Mile-High MFA with Co-Directors David Hicks and Martin McGovern

2:30-3 p.m.: Mile-High MFA Q&A

3-3:30 p.m.: Meet the Directors (*Optional: bring a writing sample to discuss related to your area of interest.)
